XLP is a youth work charity working to create positive futures for young people and at the cutting edge of tackling poverty and educational failure in inner London. We deliver holistic, long-term work with young people aged 11 to 25 in schools and communities. We have got big plans and we need the fundraising power to match. Our vision is to grow XLP's impact across London by building a fundraising engine that's ambitious, strategic and fit for a medium-sized charity. This role is about making that leap to unlocking major new income streams. That means bold action. It means going after bigger grants, attracting larger gifts and shaping a sharp, strategic approach to long-term income growth. It means helping build and lead a strong, values-driven fundraising team with the drive and determination to go the distance. You will bring precision, persistence and the skill to turn complex work into compelling funding applications. We are looking for a confident, engaging and proactive fundraiser who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and making things happen. You will be someone who works collaboratively, brings positive energy to the team and is motivated by creating opportunities for young people to grow, thrive and build strong futures. Are you interested in using your professional double decker bus driving experience, qualification and skills to support our mobile youth work delivery in the communities XLP works alongside? We'd love to hear from you! XLP is a vibrant youth work charity dedicated to shaping bright futures for young people. Leading the chargeagainst poverty and educational failure in inner London, we offer holistic, long-term support to 11- to 25-year-olds in both schools and communities. We're looking for qualified and experienced Double Decker Bus drivers to join our team on a sessional basis,working as and when needed. You will be driving our mobile youth centres, converted double decker buses, to the different communities,estates and schools to deliver our community open access sessions for young people. Your role will be to collect and drive the buses across our youth work delivery locations, undertaking visualsafety checks and recording those checks and inspections and reporting any repairs and maintenance issuesand ensuring road user safety at all times. You will also be responsible for ensuring the buses are clean and fitfor purpose for the youth work sessions planned. Alongside Youth Workers and Youth Work Practitioners you will focus on delivering face-to-face youth work in schools and in community settings. You ll be working alongside young people who may be navigating complex challenges, including community safety concerns and the risks of exploitation. Your role will be to build trust, provide meaningful support and empower them to make positive choices for their future.
