We are seeking a passionate and visionary fundraiser to become our new Head of Fundraising . In this role you ll shape and drive UCB s fundraising strategy, bringing creative campaigns to life across direct mailings, digital, broadcast, and events. This role is about growing income, exploring fresh ideas, and building a strong, sustainable fundraising mix. You ll also lead and inspire a talented team, fostering a culture of innovation, purpose, and collaboration. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: Experience in a senior fundraising role, with a track record of achieving financial targets across multiple income streams. Knowledge and hands-on experience in Direct Mail fundraising. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others. Excellent project management skills, capable of planning, executing, and evaluating campaigns. As part of the team that works across UCB, the HR & Finance Assistant provides support to the HR team and Finance team, making this a stimulating and fascinating job! In this role you will be providing administrative assistance plus supporting staff wellbeing by conducting regular DSEs, updating PEEP plans, replenishing First Aid Boxes, etc., giving you the opportunity to interact with all the teams that comprise the UCB community. We know that you will have strong administration and organisational skills and demonstrate how important attention to detail is. Your collaborative approach to working and the ability to prioritise a busy and diverse workload will be a must as part of these teams. Your great verbal and written communication skills will ensure that we serve our internal and external customers well, and you will need to demonstrate tact and diplomacy alongside accurate reporting. Working 4 days per week, you will work across our Broadcast Centre in Hanchurch and Operations Centre in Burslem, both of which are in Stoke on Trent.
