Are you an immediately available senior HR professional with experience in managing an HR team and working in the charity sector? My client is one of the leading sexual health charities in the UK and Europe. They have always been at the forefront of the fight against HIV and AIDS. They support the needs of people living with and affected by HIV and obtained their charitable status in 1984. The organisation is located in central London and their office is close to a number of tube stations and other transport links. This part-time Head of HR role is paying up to £51,000 per annum pro rata (28 hours per week) and will manage a small HR team. You will report into the Director of Corporate Services and the job is for initially 6 months, with the potential to be extended. The Head of HR role offers hybrid working, allowing the post holder to go into the office 1-2 days per week. The purpose of this 6-month FTC Head of HR (28 hours per week) role is to provide operational and people management support across the organisation including staff and volunteers. You will also lead on a number of key HR projects which include the implementation of a new HRIS (Moorepay). The key responsibilities of this role include: Implementing the new HR/payroll system (Moorepay) in conjunction with the Project manager. Redesigning the volunteering programme and administrative process (around 120 volunteers). Leading the HR team on a daily basis. Working with the new Director of Corporate Services to review the structure of the HR team. Leading on the implementation of the working group recommendations which came out of the most recent staff survey Updating and implementing their EDI strategy, working closely with Directors on this. This is an exciting opportunity for a CIPD qualified HR professional with experience in managing projects and an HR team. This FTC role will allow you to use all of your HR knowledge and expertise along with working for a charity with a great cause. This role requires someone who can build strong relationships and lead from the front. Having experience of working for a charity previously is essential along with being able to commute to the London office on a hybrid basis. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer the role will oversee the financial management of Ark & Ark Ventures (8 entities) with a combined income of £15m and a £100m capital project, EdCity. This is an exciting role covering responsibilities across all the different ventures. The successful candidate will have knowledge and/or experience of providing a high-quality finance service to a range of organisations, from start-ups to established charities. The ideal candidate will have strong financial management skills and a clear sense of how management information should be presented. They will be excited by the prospect of working in a dynamic and ambitious organisation, able to manage multiple priorities and be ready to use their skills across a range of ventures.
