About the Roles The largest of the Broads, Hickling is a year-round haven for wildlife situated at the heart of a thriving local community and attracting a wide range of visitors. Bringing together workstreams in ecological management, estate management, visitor experience and engagement, this project is based on a shared vision and aims to deliver ecological, social and economic wellbeing outcomes for the nature reserve and the surrounding area. The successful candidate will initially manage and co-ordinate the development phase of the project to include the detailed planning and deliverables to successfully obtain permissions and funding for the delivery phase. These posts offer an excellent opportunity for a project manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering large scale, multidisciplinary strategic projects in cooperation with colleagues, partners and the local community and for a senior projects officer to support and co-ordinate for the development phase of the project which will include the detailed planning and deliverables to successfully obtain permissions and funding for the delivery phase, which is an excellent opportunity for a to build their experience supporting a high profile, multidisciplinary strategic project in cooperation with colleagues, partners and the local community. Excellent co-ordination and collaboration skills and the ability to drive delivery are essential to allow you to support and enable the organisation to bring our vision for a Wilder Hickling to life and to make an even greater impact for wildlife in Norfolk. There is the potential for this role to be extended into the delivery phase of the project subject to the successful outcomes of the development phase.
