An opportunity has now arisen for a Welder to join our team as a 3 month contractor. This job involves working on the fabrication of 316 S/ST assemblies. Duties: Fabricates components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method. Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds. Documents actions by completing records. Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations. Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Skills and Qualifications: TIG Welding and Fabrication experience Ability to work from technical drawings (ideally sheet metal 1.5-3mm THK) Available to start immediately Basic health and safety knowledge Use of power tools Experience with Lean manufacturing desirable Other Information: Full-time, 40 hours per week All applicants must have the right to work in the UK

We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience programming and operating CNC brake presses. This role will also teach you how to set up and run a punch machine as well as allowing you exposure to Radan. Key Responsibilities: Ability to work from engineering and manufacturing drawings on your own Programme and operate CNC brake presses. Safely use machines and tools such as guillotines, rollers, stud guns, grinders, power files, and drills. Work primarily with stainless steel up to 3mm. Maintain a high standard of workmanship and follow quality guidelines. Ensure safe working practices and good housekeeping in your work area. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and improve quality. Essential Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings. Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication and brake press operation (training will be provided). Desirable Skills: Experience with Ermak CNC HAP 3160. Familiarity with Radan software. Experience with CNC punch machines. Training Provided: Machine-specific training. Opportunity for future cross-skilling on CNC punch machines. Possibility for Radan training Additional Responsibilities: Train and mentor team members to ensure flexibility in job functions. Support team development and help achieve personal and business goals.
