Maintenance Shift Engineer Starting Salary: Circa 48,000 per annum + Benefits. Mason James are partnered with an industry leading UK food manufacturing business based local to Market Drayton. We are looking for a multi skilled engineer to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern - 7am-7pm / 7pm - 7am (Saturday nights off) Key Skillset: Electrical knowledge: small 3 phase/single phase, servo, stepper motors, inverters and servo drives. An advantage would be load cells, multihead weighing and sensor technology, including laser and ultrasonic. 60/40 electrical to mechanical. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the team on a full time, Permanent basis. You will take an active part in maintaining, developing and improving Plant machinery and services. This will involve a variety of duties ranging from promptly repairing breakdowns to installing new equipment. PLC and HMI controls are integral to production equipment performing efficiently. Working Hours & Salary: Hours: 12 hour shift, 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotating days and nights) Salary: £ 43,000 per annum + overtime paid at basic & Night Shift Allowance. Key Accountabilities: To swiftly respond to machine breakdowns effectively prioritising maintenance support in conjunction with line leader/supervisor. To carry out maintenance and repairs to all equipment as required. Daily duties will include: Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors (wire & belt). Installations, fault-finding, Inspections, Servicing. Planned preventative maintenance. Maintenance, installations and repair of electrical / mechanical equipment Skills and Qualifications: A proven track record and strong engineering background. 2+ years experience as a Engineer within manufacturing/maintenance.
