As we continue to expand our service offering, we are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to lead and deliver specialist pipework projects across both existing and new client engagements. Role Overview This individual will be responsible for managing pipework packages from enquiry through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a key role that will suit someone with extensive knowledge of industrial pipework systems, strong project management capabilities, and hands-on experience in fabrication and installation oversight. Salary 50,000 plus car allowance of 4,200 per annum Key Responsibilities - Initial Enquiry Management: Reviewing incoming pipework enquiries, assessing feasibility, and defining project scope. - Estimating & Quotation: Developing pricing strategies, preparing detailed quotations, and assisting the sales team with bid submissions. - Procurement: Specifying and sourcing specialist materials, fittings, and pipework components. - Fabrication Oversight: Working closely with our in-house workshop and/or external suppliers to ensure fabrication meets required standards and project timelines. - Installation Coordination: Planning and managing site-based installation activities, including labour, plant, and subcontractor supervision. - Health & Safety Compliance: Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with company and client safety procedures. - Client Liaison: Maintaining regular communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. - Documentation: Producing technical and commercial documentation including method statements, risk assessments, and final project reports. Essential Skills & Experience - Proven experience in delivering industrial pipework projects (e.g. stainless steels, carbon steel, high-pressure systems). - Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g. ASME, BS EN, PED). - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion. - Proficiency in reading technical drawings and P&IDs. - Hands-on knowledge of fabrication and installation practices. - Good commercial awareness and budgeting skills. - Strong communication, leadership, and coordination capabilities. - Full UK driving licence. Desirable Qualifications - Mechanical Engineering qualifications (apprenticeship, HNC/HND or degree level). - CSCS/SMSTS or similar site safety certification. - Experience with CAD systems (desirable but not essential). - Knowledge of welding procedures and NDT requirements. Our client is looking for a Maintenance Electrician to carry out Electrical Inspection & Testing, Reactive repairs and Void Remedial / Installation across primarily social housing sites across Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 (will also be required to work an on-call rota which is 1 week in 4). Salary: 36,563 per annum. Plus on-call payment of 1950 per annum for being on-call 1 week in 4.
