Undertake EICRs and complete any necessary remedial works. Work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to deliver jobs efficiently. Order and manage materials needed for upcoming tasks to ensure smooth and well-planned delivery of works. Input, update and submit precise job information through company systems and electronic devices. Complete daily job logs detailing the tasks completed and materials used on each job. This is a busy, office-based coordination role responsible for managing both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works across multiple contracts, including railway environments. You will play a key part in ensuring engineers are effectively scheduled, jobs are accurately logged, and service level agreements are consistently achieved. Duties: Planning, scheduling and reallocating PPM and reactive maintenance works Raising remedial and reactive jobs as required Logging faults received via phone and email onto the CAFM system Monitoring jobs through to completion, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met Liaising daily with engineers, subcontractors and clients Reviewing and checking engineer worksheets for accuracy Chasing outstanding paperwork and closing down completed jobs Producing client reports and performance spreadsheets within set deadlines Managing shared mailboxes and handling incoming and outgoing calls The role covers fabric, mechanical and electrical maintenance, so previous experience within Facilities Management or a similar environment would be advantageous. Fraser Edwards is working with a social housing contractor to recruit an HIU Engineer to manage and maintain communal heating and hot water systems across social housing estates. The role primarily focuses on communal areas, including plant rooms, risers, and central heating equipment. This role requires own transport and a full UK driving license, as well as a relevant NVQ in Plumbing. Candidates should have experience in heating systems, HIUs, and communal plant maintenance. Duties: Inspect and maintain communal heating plant rooms, boilers, pumps, and valves. Conduct routine checks of central heating systems and pipework. Service HIU units in flats when required. Record readings for meters, pressures, and temperatures. Identify and report faults, leaks, or inefficiencies in the system. Assist with minor remedial works safely within competency. Maintain accurate logs and reports of inspections and works completed. Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations. Liaise professionally with tenants and contractors regarding heating issues. Essential: NVQ in Plumbing or equivalent. Experience in heating systems, HIUs, and communal plant maintenance. Own transport and full UK driving license. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow procedures. Desirable: Knowledge of district heating systems and HIUs. Basic health and safety training.
