About your work We are seeking a collaborative and organised Payroll Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end payroll operation, a critical function within our People team. This role requires meticulous accuracy and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for all employees, you will manage end-to-end payroll, provide clear support on a wide range of compensation and benefits issues, lead and administer all key processes. You'll join a small, enthusiastic team focused on People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development, where the work is both challenging and highly rewarding. Day to day Take ownership and be responsible for implementing the payroll administration process for the company, ensuring payroll is accurate, approved and paid in a timely way Partner and work closely with the external payroll provider to ensure we are compliant with the monthly payroll Collaborate with the People Operations team to ensure all monthly payroll changes (starters, changes and leavers) are captured accurately To be the first point of contact for any employee pay & benefit related queries Collaborate with the payroll provider and benefits broker to implement and reconcile employee end of year tax documents (P60s and P11Ds) Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential Prepares necessary payroll reports (monthly & ad hoc) as requested by the People Director, Finance and external auditors using both the HRIS and payroll software platforms Update and maintain the internal and external platforms with payroll and benefit changes inclusive of: PMI, Pensions, Perkbox, cycle to work, season ticket loans, electric car scheme, Payroll Giving & childcare vouchers Maintain the relationship and be the first point of contact for LendInvest's external benefit providers Lead the People Operations team during the benefits annual renewal process and implement monthly payroll changes Assist with the company's reward and compensation annual review process, providing the necessary data and implementing the workbooks as needed Support wider People projects (e.g. restructure) and ad hoc data reporting requests Collaborate with the Finance and Legal teams on company share processes and associated administrative updates to documents Support Finance with company shares reporting requirements and end of year shares tax returns Communicate to the share registrar on the approval of share exercise requests and changes to employee data Maintain accurate internal records across share award schemes Support continuous improvements across the People & Talent Acquisition function Contribute to the development of new and existing benefit programmes and processes to meet business needs and ensure competitiveness in the market About you Sound knowledge and experience of managing company payroll with a third party Experience of working with company's shares incentive scheme SIP, DBP and LTIP Strong Excel & G suite skills Excellent attention to detail, efficient and organised Experience using both HRIS and payroll platforms Great communication skills both written and verbal Confident, collaborative and a team player The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally Benefits & perks Competitive salary + company bonus scheme Hybrid working policy ️ 25 days holiday (increasing with the length of service) Private healthcare Enhanced parental leave Matched pension contributions up to 4% Critical illness cover Employee Assistance Programme & Mental Health support Life assurance Regular performance reviews to promote a culture of growth and development Leadership training for managers Give as you earn scheme for charitable donations Support for attending conferences and professional learning & development Discounts via Perkbox Cycle to work scheme Season ticket loan Electric car loan scheme Monthly socials & annual offsite Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at LendInvest At LI we believe in bringing your whole selves to work, we are committed to a culture of belonging where individuals can form a genuine community.
