To support the ongoing growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Head of Fire Engineering on a permanent basis who can open up a completely new service line for them in house. Within this role as a Head of Fire Engineering, you will be responsible for establishing this new service line in house from scratch. Currently they work with 3rd parties to execute Fire Engineering work, so initially you will spend time liaising with their current partners to understand what they currently do, whilst getting an understanding of projects with a view of bringing them all in house. You will be leading the Fire Engineering function and will be hands on, however you will be expected to grow out this division which will involve hiring, training and developing colleagues to build your unit.
