This role is on a Hybrid basis and is for a 3 month contract with potential to extend.The role is offering a competitive hourly rate off: Umbrella rate - £50-£55 per hour PAYE (Inc Hol) - £44.50 -£48.89per hour This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare lawyer to take on a senior-level caseload while supporting the wider team on complex public law children matters. Responsibilities as a Senior Childcare Lawyer: Prepare and review legal documentation including applications, statements, and court bundles. Attend case conferences, legal planning meetings, and strategy meetings. Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and associated statutory guidance. About you as a Senior Childcare Lawyer: Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently. Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx with significant experience in Childcare law . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. This role is suitable for candidate from 1-year PQE up to senior/managing associate level.
