Our client, an established forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a Business Services Team Leader to join their team in Leatherhead, Surrey. You will be responsible for dealing with a diverse portfolio of clients which are mainly high net worth individuals, senior business people and advisers, as well as multi-national firms and groups including: Technology & E-commerce companies, subsidiaries of overseas corporations, art galleries and antique dealers, upmarket retail suppliers and outlets, sports personalities/motor sport, PR and Marketing and Property development and investment. Key Duties include:- Reviewing the management accounts for UK and multi-national companies and groups, prepared by staff within the department. Advising on VAT and PAYE matters, including the review of monthly, quarterly and annual VAT returns. Assisting startups in all aspects of financial support Implementation of accounting and computerised financial systems UK financial reporting including annual accounts of limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders One-off project work including investigations and occasional secondments to clients Reviewing and reporting on financial information systems Development of staff within the department, including reviews Multi-currency accounting General business advice on a wide range of subjects to clients You will ideally have at least 3-4 years practice experience and hold a professional qualification such as ACCA and ACA, although study support is considered if required. A good working knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage and Infor10 would also be an advantage. Our client, a forward thinking, established firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a Mixed Tax Manager to join their growing team in Wimbledon, London. They are looking for someone to manage the overall tax function of the firm and be responsible for a diverse portfolio of tax clients, as well as supervising junior staff. The role will be split approximately 75/80% personal tax and 20/25% corporate tax. Key Responsibilities: Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns Identify and mitigate tax risks Manage tax provision and tax compliance process Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices You will ideally hold a professional qualification such as ATT/CTA and have a strong tax background, preferably within practice with excellent knowledge of tax accounting and compliance. A good understanding of tax software such as IRIS would also be an advantage.
