The successful candidate will be tasked with taking engineering requirements from customers and designing bespoke mechanical solutions that are able to be manufactured within time and cost constraints. The role will involve the creation of 3D models and drawing packs to allow the manufacturing team to bring to life your designs. Supporting during the design, Manufacturing, and installation stages both at the factory and on-site. This role is ideal for someone who is wanting to be part of a challenging industry, and really push themselves forward in their career. The company is paying between £70,000 - £80,000 PA for the right candidate. The Role: Working as part of a design team delivering design from feasibility to completion and handover Liaising closely with other professionals, including, clients, mechanical engineers, contractors of in-house and external project teams. Attending a range of project group and technical meetings. Ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements. Fully conversant in the use of Auto-Cad. Preparing Electrical calculations, design, and equipment specifications. Design of control panels for generators and auxiliaries, and integration with the client's control system Detailed design of LV electrical solutions and specification of HV works Design of earthing and protection systems for power generating equipment.
