Reporting Accountant (Interim) Financial Services Temporary - ongoing West End Hybrid Up to £90k temp equivalent 7-IntAA/NCW The Client: A leading global alternative investment firm is seeking an experienced Reporting Accountant to own its month-end and year-end reporting on an ongoing interim basis. The Role: This is an ideal first step in-house for someone who has recently left Big 4 audit or advisory and wants to try industry before committing to a permanent move. Career returners are also very welcome, and there's scope to go permanent for the right person. Duties will include: Running month-end close, group management accounts and consolidation. Preparing statutory accounts under IFRS or FRS 102 for the group and its subsidiaries. Leading the external audit as the main auditor contact, preparing the audit file and resolving findings. Writing technical accounting papers on areas such as IFRS 15, 16, 9 and acquisitions. Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and strengthening financial reporting controls. Supporting board, investor and lender reporting packs, including covenant calculations. Driving process and systems improvements, including ERP or consolidation projects. Coaching and reviewing the work of junior team members. Successful candidates will: Be ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified. Have trained in Big 4 or top 10 audit, at Assistant Manager or Manager level. Have strong technical knowledge of IFRS and/or FRS 102. Bring experience of group audits, consolidation and statutory reporting. Be available to start within 1-4 weeks and comfortable on an interim contract. The Details and Benefits: £75k-£90k temp equivalent. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for facilities, office operations and vendor management, alongside providing Reception cover when required. Key responsibilities: Oversee daily office and facilities operations, ensuring a high standard is maintained throughout. 7-TLA/LW Legal Assistant Temporary for 4 weeks, potential to extend City of London Up to £28 p/h, based on experience On-site Legal Services The Client: An established international law firm are looking for a temporary Legal Assistant to join their close-knit team of assistants in their London office. The duration of the temp role is 4 weeks initially, with the potential and intention to extend until February 2027. They are looking for a motivated, organised, and dedicated assistant to provide additional support to the team and work closely with partners and lawyers across the firm. Responsibilities will include: Assisting lawyers with document management, deadline management, procedural requirements and case preparation. Handling administrative and organisational tasks and providing general administrative support to lawyers, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, filing expense reports, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence. Drafting and proofreading of correspondence and legal documents. Supporting hearing preparations, especially in arbitral tribunals. Answering incoming telephone calls, responding to emails and general enquiries. Providing cover for the Receptionist during lunch hours. Assisting on ad hoc projects as required. Candidate specification: Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm or a similar professional services environment. Ideally a University degree in law or equivalent.
