In this role, you will be responsible for reporting into the Cloud Platform Lead. The role will be an important cog in the technical implementation for delivering further services to the cloud. This will deliver solutions using traditional style infrastructure to Azure cloud native implementation. The engagement aims to migrate two existing applications from an unstructured cloud environment to the Bank's new Azure platform, following the principles of the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Requirements Extensive experience with Azure, particularly in migrating applications to the Azure cloud platform. Proven track record of cloud migration using industry-standard frameworks such as WAF, CAF, and Microsoft AzureRM. Your responsibilities in the role Responsible for the design, build, and maintenance of all of the company's on-premise and cloud infrastructure Assist in the design of new infrastructure solutions, both on-premise and cloud. Implement on-premise and cloud infrastructure upgrade projects. Maintain all company servers, both on-premise and in the cloud (Azure). Maintain storage systems (SAN, NAS). Maintain company network at all sites including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitor company infrastructure to ensure performance and availability. Handle support tickets that are escalated for infrastructure resolution. Ensure server backups are performed and test recovery.
