We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer / Machinist - Nights to join our Metallic Machine Shop . The role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest quality standards and rapid turnaround times are met. You will be responsible for: Create and optimise CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. Set and operate multi-axis CNC milling to manufacture high-tolerance components. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to maximise efficiency and component quality. Work to extremely tight tolerances, ensuring components meet stringent F1 specifications. Conduct in-process and inspections using precision measuring equipment micrometres, gauges, etc and High attention to detail to minimise scrap and rework. Work closely with design engineers and production teams to enhance manufacturability (DFM). Identify process improvements to reduce cycle times and increase productivity. Support the introduction of new materials and machining techniques to maintain a competitive edge. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring a safe working environment. Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with 5S principles. What you will need to be successful in this role : Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Machinist in a high-performance engineering environment (preferably F1, motorsport, or precision engineering). Experience with Hypermill, Heidenhein or Fanuc controls. Strong knowledge of 5-axis CNC milling. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T. Skilled in selecting the correct tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parameters for exotic materials. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strict deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, ensuring seamless workflow and communication. This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, working Night Shift Mon-Thurs. We have a new opportunity to be part of our Partnership Operations team in the role of Partnership Operations Manager . In this pivotal position, you will take ownership of the Replica Car Programme, lead delivery of the Track Day Programme in the USA, and manage branding and operational elements of our F1 Academy commitments. You will also provide support on commercial and marketing projects, ensuring a high standard of delivery across all partner activations. You'll work closely with multiple internal departments and external partners to ensure assets outlined in partner contracts are executed seamlessly, representing the high standards of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. You will be responsible for: Replica Car Programme Coordinating global logistics and transportation of the replica F1 car fleet, ensuring timely, compliant, and secure delivery. Managing fleet schedules and availability in line with commercial agreements. Acting as primary liaison with Partner Managers and internal teams for fleet planning. Overseeing car branding, storage, security, upkeep, and maintenance. Liaising with Legal to ensure loan agreements and insurance coverage. Maintaining relationships with external show car providers and managing orders. Monitoring and optimising logistics performance and cost-efficiency. Managing budgets and providing regular updates to the Senior Partnership Operations Manager. Track Day Programme Leading the USA Track Day Programme and overseeing the UK programme through the Partnerships Operations Executive. Collaborating with Aston Martin Lagonda and internal teams to schedule and deliver experiences. Managing all aspects of guest coordination including lists, dietary requirements, and joining instructions. Attending track days to ensure flawless execution. F1 Academy Overseeing branding of cars, garages, tech wear and helmets. Working with PREMA and F1 Academy stakeholders to ensure compliance and consistency. Project Management Supporting cross-functional initiatives such as the pre-season photoshoot, filming days, PR days, and other commercial activations. What you will need to be successful in this role: Proven experience in partnerships operations, logistics, or project management-ideally in motorsport or a high-performance industry. Project management experience, ideally from within an agency or event environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure and tight deadlines. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to represent the team professionally. Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing tasks. Budget management and supplier coordination experience. Comfortable working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality, including company intellectual property and processes.
