About C&IT C&IT (Conference & Incentive Travel) is a brand for those passionate about events and travel. Every big global brand you can imagine from Apple to Zara will host events for their clients, their customers or their employees and it's our audience that will organise them. They might be working in-house for one of these brands, or they might be working for an agency, but they will be the ones that decide the destination, the hotels, the venues and everything else that is needed for the event to run successfully. C&IT then helps to provide event planners all over the world with everything they need to know to make better decisions. Whether it's insights into the latest industry hot topics, or inspiration for their next location. But whether we inform or inspire, educate or entertain, it's all delivered in an engaging way. Our aim is for our audience to not just have to, but want to; read, watch or listen to our content. About the role You don't need to be experienced in the events industry, as long as you're willing to learn. And you don't need years of journalism experience, you'll gain that with us. You can't feel at home at a hotel, decide on a destination or experience an event through words alone, these are multisensory experiences - and so we want to provide content that does exactly that. Finally, the events industry is a people industry. It functions on relationships and competes through creativity. Which means we're looking for someone who is happy to immerse themselves in this world, and get up close and personal with those that make it tick. You don't have to be an extrovert, but we do want someone who's willing to network. You don't have to be socially confident, but we do want someone who's willing to stretch themselves. In short, if you have the right attitude and ambition, we'll teach you the rest!
