The Position: Applications are invited for a Maintenance Fitter position at the Company s SecAnim Widnes site. This is a full-time permanent position, working an average of 42 hours per week, 4 on / 4 off, 12-hours day shifts. As a Maintenance Fitter your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company s requirements but will include: Maintenance and repair of a range of mechanical plant, a good knowledge of Pneumatics & Hydraulics. Good knowledge of all pump types (centrifugal, positive displacement, self-priming etc.). Completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance activities. Completion of steam raising works for high pressure water tube boilers in conjunction with conventional shell and tube boilers. Carry out daily BOAS boiler routine checks. Undertaking surveys and reports as required. To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out. To be able to carry out a reasonable standard of welding, MMA & MIG. Completion of steam raising works and boiler house routine checks. Assist in meeting all legislative requirements in respect of environment and health and safety, including maintaining accurate records. Cover in the plant for sickness/holidays. Any other ad hoc duties as required. Requirements: Had a time served apprenticeship or recognised Mechanical Engineering certification/qualification, or equivalent. Have a broad knowledge of large heavy processing equipment with good steam raising capabilities. Previous engineering experience within a process/factory environment. Welding and electrical experience would also be an advantage. To be able to work on own initiative and take ownership of projects within an agreed timescale. Take a proactive approach to problem solving and produce appropriate solutions to reduce disruption to working processes. Have a calm and methodical approach to work and be able to work under pressure within time constraints. Manage a number of projects effectively and troubleshoot as and when required. Must be a team worker and help the team to be developed and maintained.

The Position Applications are invited for the position of Fallen Stock Driver/Collector based at our Rampisham site. This is a full time, permanent position, working 48 Hours per week on 5 days from 6 (Monday to Saturday) As a Fallen Stock Driver/Collector your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company s requirements but will include: Driving a Company HGV (Class C) vehicle and operation of vehicle equipment (winch). Completing the required work documentation (including Driver Records and Collection Records). Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean and undertaking required vehicle checks. Safe loading and unloading of vehicle. Collecting fallen stock from customer premises and bring back to site. Dispatching (kill) farm animals at customer premises using a captive bolt (WATOK training and assessment for licence will be provided). Using firearms (if correct certificates/licences are held) to dispatch farm animals. To act as an ambassador on behalf of the Company, ensuring that the clients/customers are treated courteously and respectfully. Consistently meeting Driver performance criteria requirements. Flexibility with regards to working days/hours upon request to fulfil business requirements, which may include Saturdays. Assistance with commercial activity and positive promotion of the Company and its services, not limited to liaison and engagement with new/existing customers and distribution of promotional material. The Person Candidates should hold a full, clean Driving licence HGV Class C essential. Holding a WATOK Licence would be advantageous. Training can be provided Holding current relevant firearm certificates would be beneficial. Have previous experience of working in an agricultural or fallen stock background. Be smart in appearance (uniform is provided) and have a pleasant manner. Have knowledge of vehicle operations. Can demonstrate understanding of Driver Hours Rules Driver CPC completed.
