Role: HR Advisor Sector: Manufacturing Location: Worcester, Worcestershire Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + team bonus Working Arrangements: (up to 2 days per week available for WFH) The Role Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business in Worcester as an HR Advisor, with strong potential to develop into a business partnering role. You will work closely with the wider HR team and business leaders, providing hands-on support across a broad range of HR activities while beginning to influence people strategy and business outcomes. This progressive role offers the chance to build your skills in employee relations, talent management, and organisational development within a supportive and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and practical support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, helping to resolve issues fairly and effectively while maintaining positive working relationships. Partner with business leaders to understand their team's needs and contribute to workforce planning, talent development, and performance management initiatives. Support the delivery of change management projects, including restructures and organisational design, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with business objectives and promote a positive workplace culture. Coordinate recruitment activities, from job postings to interview scheduling and onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate and new starter experience. Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends, support decision-making, and measure the impact of HR initiatives on business performance. Facilitate training and development programmes, tracking participation and supporting continuous learning across the organisation. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and employment legislation. Act as a trusted point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and clear guidance to managers and employees. Your Background Proven experience in an HR advisory or generalist role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices. Demonstrable ability to build effective working relationships with managers and employees at all levels. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with excellent communication and influencing skills. Experience supporting change management and organisational development initiatives is highly desirable. Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification is advantageous but not essential. Comfortable working on-site in Worcester with good local commuting options.
