We have an exciting opportunity for part time a Receptionist/Administrator to join our existing team in Portsmouth. The Role: Responsible for providing a face to face contact with service users, and to provide support to all administration functions within the clinical team. Responsibilities: Raise and issue restock orders for ED Issue restock orders for Fracture clinic QAH Booking patients appointments for all departments face to face and via telephone Answering and making telephone calls Filing notes and returning notes to medical records Preparing clinics Checking and actioning mailboxes Registering referrals Taking control of clinic lists during the event of a fire/emergency Ensure all paperwork recorded and processed through Steeper Systems in accordance with set procedures Keeping all patient details up to date on Meditech Stock take on site when required Support clinical staff when required (e.g. Chaperoning) Taking minutes in meetings Posting out goods Cover Reception and front office duties when required Any other administrative duties as directed What we are looking for: Competent in multitasking and working well under pressure. The Costings Administrator is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing orders within the Costings team, meeting set KPIs, and supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational tasks. Key Responsibilities •Process and schedule orders, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. •Investigate and resolve queries to maintain smooth workflow and service quality. •Handle and process returns, following established procedures. •Perform general administrative tasks, including updating and maintaining spreadsheets and internal records. •Achieve set KPI targets, contributing to team and business performance. •Build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers, promoting effective communication and collaboration. •Support data collection and reporting activities, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. •Contribute to a continuous improvement culture, suggesting improvements to rocesses and practices. •Ensure confidentiality and data protection requirements are upheld in all aspects of work. The Role: As a Polymer Technician, you will play a vital role in the manufacture of silicone gloves and other polymer products used on prosthetic limbs. You will be involved in every stage of production, from mixing and moulding materials to ensuring the highest standards of quality and finish. Responsibilities: Manufacturing polymer products to the required QA standards. Colour matching, mixing, and preparing materials to specification. Slush moulding of PVC and silicone products. Injection moulding of foam products. Carrying out repair and detailing work on polymer products. Using specialist machinery safely and effectively, including set-up, production, maintenance, and quality control checks. Identifying and reporting hazards and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed. Supporting process improvements, minimising waste, and working towards a culture of 'Right First Time'. Assisting colleagues, training others in the team, and escalating stock shortages where needed. Participating in quality and safety meetings as required. Carrying out adhoc duties to support the team leader. What we are looking for: The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience in polymer manufacturing or relevant qualifications is desirable, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Steeper Group currently has a vacancy for an Orthotic Technician within the Repair and Adapts (R&A) team to join our orthotic manufacturing team at our site in Leeds. Our aim is to create positive turning points through innovative prosthetic, orthotic and assistive technology products combined with continuously committed clinical services. Joining Steeper as a R&A Technician means you ll be part of a company which truly makes a difference to the quality of peoples lives. As an R&A Technician, you will work with a highly experienced team of technicians and a strong multidisciplinary team to develop skills to enable you to undertake the manufacture of footwear repairs. Duties/ Responsibilities: Working closely with the R&A manufacturing team, you will be responsible for repairing footwear to a quality standard, this includes Fitting of sockets, adaption of footwear (upper and sole), upper repairs and sole repairs. As a technician it is highly important for orders to be actioned effectively and efficiently to satisfy the requirements of our patients and clinicians. To do this role you will need to be confident at using hand tools, have good hand/eye coordination along with excellent attention to detail. You ll also need to be focused and able to demonstrate that you can operate in a high-pressure volume related environment, ensuring that all work undertaken is ready for delivery within the relevant timescales. In addition, you ll need to: Be able to interpret clinical orders, work to technical instructions undertaking precise measurements. Demonstrate good communication skills. Have previous experience of working to targets in line with department standard times, volume and quality. Be aware of the importance of confidentially and data protection in all aspects of work.
