OFFSHORE CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE - CONTRACT - OFFSHORE AND WORKING FROM HOME IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking an Offshore Construction Representative to join their team working on a large offshore wind farm project based offshore and working from home during onshore down time with trips to the offices in Surrey on a contract basis. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: · Candidates must have experience with offshore vessels and have worked offshore previously. · They must also have a valid and up to date OGUK Medical and BOSIET certificates. · Experience in heavy lift and working on large offshore wind farm projects preferable. JOB SCOPE: · Ensure that all offshore operations meet requirements of the project and successfully execute the project. · Ensure efficient, safe and timely execution of 3rd party vessel activities with respect to the project schedule. START : Need to mobilise into a short quarantine on 4/12/21 so must be available immediately/very short notice. LOCATION: Offshore based and trips to Surrey ROTATION : 28 days offshore / 28 days onshore - whilst on the down days onshore would be required to work from home in the week on the project RATE: Please quote the Ltd company hourly rate you would be looking for. CHIEF ENGINEER (INFRASTRUCTURE ASSURANCE) - PERMANENT - PORTSMOUTH Our Client is seeking a Chief Engineer (Infrastructure Assurance) to work with their team based in Portsmouth. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate will ideally have the following qualifications, memberships etc: · Membership of related technical professional body such as CIBSE, IMechE, IET, · CEng, or equivalent technical accreditation / membership. · Health and Safety training i.e. IOSH Managing Safely, CITB SMSTS or CSCS or equivalent · Hold, have held or eligible to apply for security clearance EXPERIENCE: Candidate Key experience will be: · Gained as a manager within the construction / facilities / asset management industry at strategic, operational and tactical levels · In leading engineering activity across asset and project lifecycles with a focus on commissioning and handover to deliver the required estate and Programme outcomes · In maintaining a system of systems viewpoint while understanding component level design and investigation rationale when required · In assuring compliance to all relevant statutory and regulatory legislation within a maritime and built infrastructure environment · In safely satisfying operational demands in an uncertain climate with new and aged infrastructure · In approving standards & specifications for use by other internal departments · Experience / knowledge of creating and implementing maintenance strategies including, but not limited to Condition and Risk Based Maintenance. · In supporting the development of strategic plans for infrastructure and business improvement · Experience / knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and strategies to exploit these in the built environment to support the Naval Base's journey towards Net Zero Carbon. · Experience of Building Information Management (BIM) and Asset Data Management systems · Utilizing a flexible and proportional approach to governance in order to retain control in a fast paced environment through collaboration across client and internal engineering teams, delegation & audit · Supporting increased maturity of information exploitation to business operations such as utilizing asset telemetry / IOT solutions and collaborative working environments for a range of different purposes · Candidate will need to show the following behaviours: Leadership, Collaboration, Positive Communication, Listening, Strategic Thinking, Openness, Striking a Balance, Innovation, Questioning the Status Quo. TECHNICAL ADVISOR - ELECTRICAL- CONTRACT - QUICK START - SURREY Our Client is urgently seeking a Technical Advisor, Electrical (PV Plant & Battery Systems) to work with their team based in Surrey on a FEED project. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: · Engineer with good experience of the application of Solar / PV systems with BESS for large industrial level solar power parks. · Should be able to demonstrate experience in design, analysis and integration of >50MW plants with conventional power generation / grid. Preferred skills: ETAP PVSYST START DATE: Immediate - 1.11.2021 latest DURATION: c 6-8 months plus RATE : £45 per hour Ltd Company rate. The role is Likely to be outside of IR35 but the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment. PLANNERS & SENIOR PLANNERS - CONTRACT - SOMERSET Our Client is urgently seeking a number of Planners and Senior Planners to work on the Hinckley Point project in Somerset.. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Must have Construction and or post construction project planning experience Fully familiar with P6 Primavera planning software Job Description: The majority of the work will be office based on site or in Somerset with an element of potentially working from home You will need to go through the EDF security process. START: As soon as possible DURATION: 6 month plus assignment LOCATION: Somerset or site based RATE : Negotiable per hour PAYE rate.
