Main Purpose of Role: The IT Support Engineer will support the business through solving IT issues and helping increase efficiency of business processes. Responsibilities: Assist with\carry out the installation and maintenance of the corporate operating systems and storage infrastructure, ensuring all standard procedures and policies are fulfilled and met. Act as a technical resource in assisting users or project teams, take ownership of issues or problems assigned and ensure all key personnel are kept informed on progress in a timely manner. Assist users to assess needs and provide/document justification for equipment and services maintaining network security through Active Directory and other approved services. Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems Liaise with suppliers and IT services contracts whenever necessary to raise faults or query progress To work as part of a Global IT Support team, helping and covering for other support team members Plan the deployment of software releases of in-house applications and manage the release process end-to-end from planning of release content through to actual deployment to production Troubleshoot problems and support corporate operations such as email, DNS\DHCP\SMTP elements, remote access including MFA, active directory etc. with operating, storage, network with respect to both hardware and software for network, peripheral and mobile equipment problems making repairs and corrections where and when required. Communicate to local users on the different IT systems supported by the business, including basic training on these systems. Suggest alternative working methodologies to improve business workflows. Support the IT change team with the rollout of new systems and services in the local offices. Troubleshoot problems and support collaboration services such as Avaya telephone systems, Microsoft Skype 4 Business, O365.

We are currently looking for Assistant Gas Technician to be part of our Asset Management team: Main Purpose of Role: To safely operate, maintain, repair and improve clients' assets within the Gas Energy sector. Undertaking works in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring excellent levels of quality and customer satisfaction. Location: Cambridge/Peterborough/Leicester/Northampton/Central England/Southern England Responsibilities: Adhere to the service delivery process and associated procedures/WI's that are applicable to Operational staff in your area for all contracts and clients Ensure all incident/near misses/safety observation /return to work are reported To bring to the attention of the Quality Assurance and HSE Departments any failures that is in breach of Company policy or legal requirements and if safety related stop work Carry out assigned activities on all equipment associated with energy assets. (planned; defect; projects activities) to the required standards Ensure comprehensive records of vehicle stock and calibration of tools and equipment on vehicles are maintained and kept up to date Monitor condition of client/company equipment - ensuring reports are completed as applicable. Ensure full and detailed records are maintained on all plant and operations completed (both manual and computerised) Ensure availability of all safety critical systems Contribute to projects, investigations and audits (internal and external to the site) Participate in call out rota for emergency call out Carry out any other duties that might reasonably be expected for the post holder Provide training, advice, guidance and support to other teams or individuals when applicable Teamwork and development across all Penspen UK activities to achieve business objectives and improve performance Complete maintenance on a variety of LP/IP/HP gas process equipment, i.e., commission, overhaul, functional checks Carry out assigned duties and work without direct supervision and in potentially remote/hazardous locations Responsible for operating and using mobile plant, mechanical lifting handling equipment, tools and other equipment properly and safely, ensuring they are correctly maintained and stored. Responsibilities: Executing integrity (FFS / RBI) assessments under the supervision of consultants and Senior Engineers. Executing plant / pressurised static assets integrity (FFS / RBI) assessments under the supervision of Senior Asset Integrity Engineer. Produce QRA calculations and support process safety studies.
