As a Bank Driver , you'll chauffeur GPs and nurses to and from patients' homes - typically when they're unable to see their usual clinician. This is not an emergency service and you will need to follow all the normal rules of the road. It will be part of your role to ensure the safety of our clinicians and medical equipment, so you may be asked to escort them to the patient's front door. You'll also be expected to keep vehicles appropriately maintained, and at times you'll need to communicate with the public, as well as the team back at base. This is a Bank role that enables you to choose to accept the shifts you want. However, most shifts will be available across evenings and weekends. When not driving, you would also have the opportunity to work on site in an admin capacity or on reception. About The Candidate What you will need: Driving experience, with a full driving licence (no more than three points), good map reading skills and knowledge of the local area. Good communication skills, both in person and by telephone. Basic IT skills for noting information such as itinerary checklists and time logs accurately. What you will get: Pay: £8.91 - £13.19 per hour (depending on shift) 25 days' annual leave (full time equivalent), increasing with service up to 28 days per year + bank holidays.
