Business Analyst / Product Manager -Equities, ETF's, Fixed Income, Structured Products An exciting and varied role within an established and growing organisation predominantly working as a Business Analyst/Product Manager with some Project Management. Candidates MUST have excellent knowledge of predominantly Equities E-Trading / Exchange Connectivity with any ETF's, Fixed Income, Futures & Options and FX beneficial, ideally, you'll also have a strong Technical Understanding. The role will cover a number of the company's different business divisions with the successful candidate will having the opportunity to work on a breadth of different projects. The primary responsibility will be full project life cycle from the initial Business Analysis and Functional Requirement Gathering to scoping project requirements and managing the project delivery, adapting to any changes in scope in the process and solving problems. About The Role: Functional requirement gathering with internal and external stakeholders and working closely with development teams to translate requirements into deliverable solutions. Constantly reviewing Trading Systems and client needs to see where functionality can be improved Project management - drive the delivery of product initiatives. Defining project timelines and identifying dependencies and risks to delivery. Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements Client Onboarding - develop and provide comprehensive training materials (in English) for internal teams and clients, ensuring a clear understanding of product features and functionalities. Proactively managing multiple projects of varying scope and size in parallel Solving problems with innovative solutions with the confidence to challenge stakeholders to determine the most appropriate solution. Risk assessment - Appropriately assess risks and identify any required actions required to mitigate risks. Using tools such as MS Project to manage forecast Essential Skills: In depth knowledge of financial markets, ideally Equities with Fixed Income, ETF's Futures & FX advantageous Demonstratable experience as a Business Analyst / Product Manager delivering trading solutions within a Fixed Income/Equities trading environment Experience working with engineering teams in line with Agile/scrum Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, translating business requirements into stories and epics. Some knowledge of IT including Windows/Linux and general networking Good understanding of networking (TCP and UDP) and multicast data delivery Good understanding of distributed server architectures running on Linux Knowledge Of Any Desirable: Understanding of ultra-low latency distributed computing environments. Familiarity with FIX trading protocol and market data systems. Understanding of traditional and on-premises physical infrastructure and distributed server architectures running on Linux. Previous experience with Fixed Income, Equities, Futures & Options Trading, Risk and Settlement Systems. Familiarity with cloud technology - AWS and or Azure Reasonable knowledge of Databases - SQL Server/Oracle - including performance issues Knowledge of any of the ISV's products - Trading Technologies, Stellar, ULLink, WebICE, Object Trading, Fidessa, ION/Patsystems, Trayport. Exchange Connectivity - ICE/LIFFE, Eurex, CME/CBOT, Euronext, Xetra, Chi-X, LME, LSE, NYSE. FIX Connectivity - Client On-boarding, Support/Troubleshooting of FIX Logs/Connections. Other Market Data - Reuters, Bloomberg, CQG, Ateo (Teo and Lisa). Job Overview The position is for a Senior Cloud and DevOPS Engineer with STRONG Linux Systems Administration background to join a team maintaining existing and building new infrastructure, sharing knowledge and best practices. This is an incredibly varied role, covering all aspects of automation and management of low latency trading platforms both on premise and cloud as well as supporting clients with their implementation of The Company's Technology solutions. The successful candidate will be a key player within a small but highly technical infrastructure team. Responsibilities and Duties Develop and deliver automated multi-account global cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (Terraform). Enhance the automation of current processes both cloud and on-premise by using Scripting languages such as Ansible, Python and other automation tools. Work with the development team to take over and productionise new technologies and workflows. Collaborate with DevOps, development and infrastructure teams around architectural design and cloud best practices. Required Skills/Experience 5+ years' experience architecting, building, and operating systems on multi-account AWS and GCP platforms. 5+ years DevOps - Strong CI/CD Pipelines, Deployment Strategies, Monitoring, automation. Experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes Strong Linux system administration (RedHat/CentOS or similar). 5+ years' experience with automation languages such as Python, bash, Ansible and Terraform. Experience with Build, Release and Version Control Systems such as Git, GitLab etc. Extensive proven experience with AWS network and security implementations and management. Experience administering and maintaining systems monitoring/alerting technologies (CloudWatch, Splunk, Nagios, Rapid7, Grafana etc.). Proven experience with containerisation - Docker/Kubernetes/ECS/ECR, etc., Database administration - MySQL, QuestDB, Elasticsearch. Senior Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer- C++, Python - Financial / Banking. Candidates will have a minimum 8+ years C++ experience and excellent knowledge of Python -coming from a Financial / Banking background with knowledge of Equities, Futures & Options and Fixed Income and Exchange Connectivity. Job Overview You will work with the Product, Infrastructure and QA teams, to produce high performance, low latency and highly reliable code. Your goal will be to develop software which handle large amount of TPS to drive a highly efficient technology used by several markets around the world. To be successful in this role as a Principal Software Engineer - C++, you will be a proponent of agile methodology and modern software best practices. You can produce detailed technical work in OOP and work with other members of the Development team to produce code of high-quality standards. Ideally, you should have worked in critical systems development in the past. Responsibilities and Duties • Codes, tests, integrates, and documents software. • Provides technical leadership to more junior employees and other teams. • Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the development of complex products. • Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in internal review of software components and systems. • Work on the hardest technical problems facing the company, often these problems are unusually complex and require the utmost creativity and innovation. • Apply and champion the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of technical engineering products. • Keep abreast of technology trends and champion new ideas and process improvements. Required Skills/Experience • 8+ years development experience in C++ 11 and Boost creating performant, scalable applications. • 6+ years of experience in networking (UDP, Multicasting, TCP, etc ), messaging, and algorithms. • 6+ years of experience on Linux systems. • Good understanding of modern development best practices and methodologies • Python, including Pytest. • Knowledge of capital markets exchange connectivity on stocks (fixed income and derivatives is a plus), including exchange protocols such as FIX and SBE. • Most importantly, a drive to solve complex technological and trading challenges with a great team of talented developers. • Comfortable using Agile methodology, including continuous integration, sprints, Jira and the relevant processes and workflow. • Some understanding and usage of cloud technology is a plus but not mandatory.
