Following continued success and growth of our sales team (launched back in Autumn 2020), PETA Training and Consultancy Ltd are now looking grow this team by adding another skilled Strategic Account Manager to the team! This role offers a blend of home based and office-based work (minimum office attendance is 2 days per week) and includes all the necessary tools you need to do your job (phone, laptop etc…) Your Role Joining our established Strategic Account Management Team, your role will be split 80% account management and 20% new business sales. Account Management - You will be responsible for engaging with an allocated customer base to promote the services of PETA, focusing on the growth of service deliverables and revenue from each customer. You will be required to develop an understanding of the working relationship between PETA and each client, understanding the entire breadth of the client's organisation, and matching PETA's services to the organisations potential training needs in the short, medium, and long term. New Business Sales - You will be expected to launch and manage a campaign of new business acquisition on a dedicated day each week, working through a structured campaign strategy. This could be based upon a specific industry, geographical location, or oriented around one of our flagship training programs we run throughout the year. The Strategic Account Management team within PETA is only 18 months old and the impact it has already had on PETA has been huge. We currently work with over 700 organisations across the Solent and are keen to extend our customer engagement and the quality of the service we offer, by growing our Strategic Account Management team. If you have experience listening to a customer's requirements and creating a solution which resolves the challenges and difficulties or aids them in achieving their aspirations and goals, then we're very keen to speak with you. We're looking for a Strategic Account Manager who has: A proactive approach to sales with a recognition that productivity is a key factor in strong sales return Experience of mapping accounts in detail Experience in both solution sales and push/product sales. Strong interpersonal skills The ability to present confidently to senior level stakeholder Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage time effectively A drive to be part of an organisation who supply a service which benefits companies, employees, the local community and more (we refer it to being 'On the Bus'). Joining our team as a Health & Safety Trainer / Advisor, your primary role purpose is in training and education, however, at times you will be engaged directly with employers to offer guidance and interpretation of health and safety legislation, which requires a pragmatic approach to tackling what can be a confusing area for business leaders. This may include working with them to develop good health and safety management and systems in their businesses. Delivery of courses will be based either at our superb Management Training and Conference Centre or at individual employer premises, so you must be flexible to travel within the role, therefore, a full driving licence and use of car is essential for this post. To succeed as a Health & Safety Trainer / Adviser, you will have excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills, a sound working knowledge of health and safety, and hold as a minimum requirement the NEBOSH General Certificate. Practical experience in the design and delivery of training, a teaching (PTLLS or equivalent) qualification, environmental qualification, and membership of IOSH at either Graduate or Chartered status would be advantageous.
