Responsibilities Undertaking building surveys and bulk sampling Carrying out asbestos air monitoring including the issuing of Certificate of Re-occupation and Statement of Cleanliness Advise clients on legal requirements, regulations, and industry standards related to asbestos management Preparing accurate reports and plans of your work in standard formats Maintaining and building on good relationship with clients Timely completion of monthly quality requirements Qualifications Minimum of 12 Months related work within UKAS accredited organisation P402, P403, P404 modules or equivalent Competent and confident user of MS office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail Organised and proactive, with the ability to multi-task Full UK drivers licence

A leading environmental consultancy is looking for a commercially focused Asbestos Consultant who will also supervising and support Technicians and support staff Main Responsibilities: Client management, care and liaison Organising, assessing and conducting asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys within a team Prepare factual and interpretative reports Organisation of asbestos removal projects as instructed, and any contractors and subcontractors appointed Conducting on site monitoring of removal works including background tests, smoke tests, visual inspections, leak tests, 4 stage clearance and re-occupation tests Assist in training technicians on and off site. Conduct Asbestos Awareness seminars for clients and their representatives. The skills/experience you will need are: P402, P403, P404 qualified Previous experience of working within consultancies and experience of dealing with multiple clients across a variety of industries Commercially focused with proven leadership skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach Experience of working to strict deadlines

I have urgent vacancies within the oil spill remediation sector. Candidates will ideally have at least 12 months 'hands on' experience working on domestic oil spill projects, however my client will consider candidates with no domestic oil experience as long as candidates have experience within the contaminated land/geo-environmental/remediation sector. My client is a well established contaminated land consultancy, and they have numerous home based positions within the South of England, candidates will ideally be based South of Birmingham/Coventry/Bristol/Glos/Devon/Cornwall/Hampshire/Essex/Suffolk/Norfolk/Kent/Surrey/East Sussex or Northern Ireland. Salary is up to 40k (for candidates that can hit the ground running), a van (junior level hire) or car/car allowance will be provided (for more senior level candidates). Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the UK, candidates MUST have hands on soil remediation experience. A UK driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will: • Responsible for the undertaking sample analysis of the various types of bulk materials • Produce and Compiling and quality assessing reports, ensuring they are delivered promptly to the client • Ensure all associated paperwork is completed, checked and given to the associated office in a timely manner • Ensure all equipment used is within calibration. • Undertake daily quality checks. • Maintain impartiality, integrity and independence throughout • Effectively communicating with Laboratory/Operations Manager • Ensure that all the necessary quality records are completed and made available for regular internal review by a member of the Quality or Management team. This includes all contract review documents, equipment registers and job files.
