SEMH Teaching Assistant KS3 We are seeking a resilient, committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist setting, working with KS3 pupils with Autism, ADHD and Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs . This role is ideal for someone with strong character, emotional intelligence and consistency , who can remain calm under pressure and build positive, trusting relationships with young people who may present with challenging behaviours. You will support pupils both 1:1 and in small groups , helping them to regulate emotions, engage with learning and develop confidence within the school environment. The successful candidate will have experience supporting pupils with SEMH and neurodiverse needs , and a solid understanding of behaviour support, de-escalation strategies and trauma-informed practice . You will be adaptable, patient and able to work collaboratively with teaching staff to provide structure, clear boundaries and nurture where needed. This is a rewarding role for someone who is thick-skinned, dependable and genuinely passionate about making a difference to pupils who need stability, consistency and positive role models.
