Grounds Maintenance Operative Needed Location: Swindon Hours: • Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm • Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm TBC Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour We are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative . It is essential that our grounds and public spaces are maintained to the highest possible standard. These positions are ideal for individuals who take pride in outdoor work and have a proactive approach to maintaining green spaces. Key Responsibilities: Assist with general grounds maintenance, including mowing, strimming, weeding, and planting. Ensure public areas, parks, and green spaces are kept clean, tidy, and well-presented. Operate basic grounds maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively. Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly. Work as part of a team to meet daily and weekly maintenance targets. Requirements: Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role is desirable but not essential. Ability to carry out physical tasks in a variety of weather conditions. A reliable and punctual work ethic. A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team. Must be over 25 years old due to insurance Must have UK Driving licence
