The core responsibilities of the role are: Mitigate employment-related risk through consistent and standardized employee contracting, effective employee conversations, and decision-making; Ensure the rigorous and consistent deployment of AlphaSights' template employment contracts globally and approve any exceptions to such template contracts; Update and enhance AlphaSights template employment contracts, handbooks and other related documents as required by law or for business need and create procedures and process efficiencies; Collaborate with global leadership to understand and resolve any potential employee legal issues / grievances; Advise all areas of the company on employment law related issues, including performance management matters; employment law claims; terminations; recruiting; hiring; compensation and benefits; performance reviews; performance improvement plans; and employee, contractor and expert classification questions; Advise on employment related issues (with the support of external counsel) that arise in any supply chain or client facing contracts; Advise on AlphaSights' global immigration requirements with the support of external counsel, and support the HR and Recruiting teams in this area; Liaise and manage external employment / immigration legal counsel globally as required; Provide training to the company on relevant employment-related areas; Advise on privacy-related employment matters, including responding to subject access requests; and Advise on internal investigations concerning potential conflicts of interest, financial misconduct, code of conduct issues or other violations of internal AlphaSights' policies.As Legal Counsel, Employment & HR, you will grow and develop in a high-growth commercial environment.
