Senior Design Engineer (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) £55,000 - £75,000 + Benefits Travel: China (1 week per quarter) The Opportunity Want to work on real engineering that impacts global emissions? You won't just design You'll own engineering from concept through to production . What You'll Be Doing Own mechanical design of key subsystems Take products from concept design manufacturing Produce 3D CAD models, drawings & calculations Improve manufacturability, cost, and performance Work closely with international suppliers (incl. China) Solve real-world engineering problems on hardware Support and mentor junior engineers What We're Looking For Degree in Mechanical / Structural / Marine Engineering 5-10 years experience in mechanical design Strong 3D CAD skills (NX, Inventor or similar) Experience with fabrication / welding / large structures Strong understanding of DFMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly) Proven track record delivering designs into production Bonus Points Marine / offshore / wind industry experience Knowledge of DNV / LR certification Experience with structural testing Mandarin language skills Why Join?
