There are typically 7 Board meetings per year, currently three of these will be held in person in North Devon, with the remaining four being virtual meetings. All Board members are assigned to one of the two Committees, and each meets four times annually, with these meetings normally being held virtually, in addition Board members may be asked to take part in project groups and if appropriate become a Board Champion in a specific area. Provide household budgeting and money management advice. Identify debts and potential debt strategies and make onward referrals to specialist debt support provision or self-help resources. About You You will have a good knowledge & understanding of Housing Benefit regulations, welfare benefits, discretionary funds and grants, welfare reform and financial inclusion services. You will also have a sound understanding of fuel poverty, poverty and other issues affecting a customer's ability to pay.
