A successful and growing CNC engineering company based in Whitstable, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a section of three Vertical Milling Machines, producing high-quality precision components. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced CNC professional who can work independently and take ownership of their area. Key Responsibilities: CAD/CAM programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines Running and maintaining a section of 3 Vertical Milling Machines Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances Ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency in production Carrying out basic machine maintenance and problem-solving Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator Strong CAD/CAM programming experience (current system: Fusion) Experience with Vertical Milling Machines preferred Ability to work to high standards with minimal supervision A proactive and reliable approach to work Hours & Pay Pay: £17.50 £21.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 39 hours per week Flexible working hours: Monday Thursday: between 07 45.
