Maintain organised and up-to-date payroll records for all employees. Generate and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments as needed. Maintaining knowledge of current and new legislation impacting payroll and ensuring this knowledge is shared with team and wider business where appropriate. Ensure strict compliance with all statutory and contractual obligations and deadlines, along with compliance with controls framework. Support the Annual External Audit. Manage the administration of colleague benefits: PMI, P11D, ExpenseIn, Company car/mileage, pension schemes. Act as principal point of contact for the Pension Schemes, ensuring compliance with requirements of the schemes and the Pension Regulator; and communicating with HR department and/or Senior Management as necessary. Managing the preparation and submission of pension contributions ensuring regulatory compliance. Managing all payroll enquiries from employees to satisfactory timely resolution, ensuring effective communication. Assist with ad-hoc Payroll projects as required. Manage Payroll Team in line with company performance management policies. Experience Required Extensive payroll management experience, managing multiple payrolls in an outsourced environment. CIPP qualified (desirable). Experience of managing and developing a team. A proven track record of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. A team player who is able to coach and develop others through an illustration of excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
