Assisting in the preparation of court bundles and other litigation support tasks. Coordinating schedules, appointments, and meetings for team members. Handling general office duties, including data entry, photocopying, and scanning. What will help you succeed in this role? Essential: Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role. Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under deadlines. DWF, a global legal business, is seeking a motivated Paralegal with expertise and experience in insurance and/or litigation to join our dynamic award winning team in Belfast. This role is hybrid, offering a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex injury, fraud and motor litigation cases for a wide variety of clients. Responsibilities To handle a caseload of person injury, fraud and motor related claims, conduct legal research, case preparation, and drafting legal documents. Review and assess motor insurance claims, identifying potential fraud indicators. Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation. Prepare court bundles and manage the filing of legal documents. Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm's case management system. Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression. Assist with the investigation of claims, including reviewing evidence such as CCTV footage, accident reports, and witness statements. Conduct legal research and prepare briefs for Solicitors What will help you succeed in this role? Essential Previous Paralegal experience including insurance and litigation , preferably with some knowledge of personal injury, fraud and motor. Strong knowledge of the Northern Ireland legal system and civil litigation process. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Desirable Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in legal research and using case management software.
