This is a part-time position, working from our fantastic Leeds office on three set days each week: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Role Responsibility Deliver a professional, efficient and friendly front-of-house reception and helpdesk service for Members, colleagues and visitors. Ensure a safe, secure and well-managed office environment by following and promoting all relevant policies, procedures and business rules. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain excellent service delivery and meet agreed SLAs. Provide comprehensive administrative and office support in alignment with operational KPIs and business standards. Support successful improvements in efficiency, quality and cost. The Ideal Candidate A natural people person with confident, warm communication skills and a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service. Experience in hospitality, reception, customer service or office administration is welcome but not essential if you bring strong interpersonal skills. Confident using Microsoft Office and able to pick up new systems quickly. Highly organised, detail-focused and capable of managing a varied workload to tight deadlines. Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a continuously improving environment. Discreet and trustworthy, with experience handling confidential information appropriately. We're looking for a highly capable Head of Group Financial Reporting to lead our Group Reporting, Technical and Investment and Accounting teams during a period of exciting transformation at MPS. This initial 12month FTC will provide critical leadership while our existing colleague transitions into a project focused role to support key change initiatives. About the Role As our Head of Group Financial Reporting, you will take ownership of all aspects of Group financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and robust financial control across the organisation. You will lead a team of eight skilled professionals spanning: Investment Accounting Technical Accounting You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality internal and statutory reporting, driving improvements to our control framework, and ensuring we continue to meet our obligations with precision and confidence. This role is ideal for someone who brings both technical excellence and a "get things done" mindset-someone who thrives on deadlines, accountability and delivering work to a high standard. What We're Looking For We're seeking a hands on, delivery focused finance leader who can balance technical expertise with strong people leadership. You will bring: A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Strong technical accounting skills, ideally from a background in: Audit Corporate finance Financial advisoryFinancial consultancy Industry experience in a complex organisation, financial services, retail or PE backed environments are a strong advantage Proven experience in financial controls, governance and reporting Demonstrated ability to operate at pace, take ownership, and deliver to tight deadlines Leadership & personal attributes Ability to inspire, support and develop a high performing finance team Strong stakeholder management and communication skills A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to challenge and drive change.
