Proficient in MIG/TIG and MMA welding techniques. Hands-on experience with various fabrication equipment (plasma cutters, press brakes, saws, drills, etc.). Excellent understanding of welding codes, tolerances, and finishing standards . Effective communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills. Fully versed in H&S regulations and best practices in workshop environments. Desirable: CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS certification. Forklift or crane operator experience/certification. Perform reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of plant machinery, control panels, conveyors, motors, and associated electrical equipment. Undertake electrical installation works including cable runs, containment, motor controls, panel wiring, and final terminations. Diagnose faults on industrial control systems, including relays, contactors, timers, sensors, and overloads. Work safely and independently when required, and within a team when necessary, following site safety and permit procedures. Complete EIC and minor works documentation for repairs and works.
