The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of joinery techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the ability to work with precision to meet project specifications. Responsibilities Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, including furniture, doors, and windows. Perform joinery tasks with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality finishes. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to complete projects efficiently. Conduct masonry work as required for specific projects. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Skills Proficient in joinery techniques with experience in assembling and fabricating wooden structures. Strong knowledge of using power tools (e.g., saws, drills) and hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers). Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during assembly processes. Experience in Shop fitting and dry-lining is ideally required Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You must have a good level of experience in this line of work and would be a huge advantage if you have done shop fit work before This work is based at a new shop fit out in Bicester, there is around 6 weeks work currently but this could go on longer for the right person this role is to start ASAP The start time is around 7am you work around 9/10 hours a day but get paid for 11 there will also be weekends available You must display a can do attitude and have excellent time keeping If you are passionate about craftsmanship and looking to contribute your skills in a dynamic setting, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Joiner.
