Role overview As a Desk-Based BDM, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities over the phone, email, and digital channels. You'll manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing, while nurturing strong relationships with prospective clients. Key responsibilities (Please note that this list is not exhaustive). Proactively source new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms. Qualify leads and understand client needs to tailor value propositions effectively. Manage a pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups. Deliver compelling product presentations and proposals via virtual meetings. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to execute targeted campaigns. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's offerings, pricing structures, and market trends. Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs and revenue targets. The right candidate Proven experience in B2B sales or business development ideally in tech, telecoms, SaaS, or infrastructure sectors. Strong communication and persuasion skills, with confidence in leading virtual meetings and pitches. Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude. Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipeline and track performance. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Role overview: We are looking for a Solution Advisor to support our sales and networks teams as we deliver connectivity, IT, and cybersecurity services to businesses across London. This is an early-career position focused on assisting with customer conversations, providing high-level technical clarification, and ensuring opportunities are correctly scoped before they reach the senior Solutions team. You'll join customer calls, help explain proposals, gather requirements, and act as the first technical checkpoint to ensure accuracy and consistency. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a full Solutions role while learning from experienced engineers and advisors across the business. Key responsibilities: Join customer calls to support discovery discussions and capture technical needs. Explain and walk customers through existing proposals and answer high-level questions. Provide non-design technical clarifications within the standard product offering. Act as the first-level technical filter before opportunities progress to the Solutions team. Work exclusively within the defined standard product set Support the preparation of high-level network diagrams, documentation, and proposal material. Help translate straightforward customer requirements into clear technical notes for internal teams. Collaborate closely with Sales, Networks and Solutions to ensure smooth handover of information. Maintain clean documentation and accurate records that support a seamless delivery workflow. The right candidate: Some experience or exposure to an ISP, MSP, or cybersecurity environment. Strong foundational knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN/firewalls) and familiarity with Microsoft 365. Interest in cybersecurity tools and concepts (firewalls, VPN, endpoint protection, SIEM/SOC). Familiarity with Juniper, Ruckus, or Fortinet technologies is a bonus. Confident communicator able to explain technical concepts simply. Highly organised with good documentation and diagramming habits. Curious, proactive, and eager to learn and progress into a more senior Solutions role.
