A quick look at the role Reporting into the Procurement Excellence Manager, the Procurement Systems Manager will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and visibility of spend data and reporting analytics within the Procurement Function. Additionally, you will maintain, identify, and implement procurement technologies available in the market to drive process improvements and automation for the function. Your core responsibilities Manage the integrity of the Procurement Spend Cube, including data cleansing with the Category Management Team, suppliers, and the wider business for accurate reporting. Manage and maintain the supplier database and onboarding processes within D365. Develop product items, punch-out catalogues, and identify continuous improvement opportunities related to the procurement function within D365. Set data standards and SOPs to enhance the integrity of product items and catalogues within D365. Maintain and promote the use of other procurement systems, including e-RFX (and e-Auctions) and contract management systems. Provide training and support to the procurement team on procurement systems to ensure effective utilization. Review the procurement roadmap regularly to identify opportunities for innovation and digital transformation benefiting Biffa and the procurement function. Assist the Procurement Excellence Manager in developing strategies for communication on Procurement Policies and Governance to the business. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and the procurement team to positively impact business performance. Identify continuous and process improvement opportunities within procurement data and systems, aligned with Biffa Governance and Procurement Policies. Our essential requirements Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or similar ERP systems). Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). Experience managing complex data sets and developing spend analytics/reporting tools for procurement. Understanding of the full end-to-end procurement process. Experience managing procurement systems such as e-RFX, Contract Databases. Experience in data migration, cleaning, system integration, and UAT testing is desirable. As a member of the C&D division leadership Team, contribute to the Group business strategy and annual business plan together with the responsibilities of corporate governance, compliance and decision making / approval of key group wide projects, initiatives and policies Identify cross group opportunities to support customer propositions and retention. Create the annual L&S Business Plan (BBP) including key objectives, KPIs and be responsible for the cascade of objectives to senior leaders and staff within L&S to ensure co-ordinated and aligned activity with the C&D division as a whole. Responsible for the financial performance, client management and service performance of the C&D business across its full customer base. Develop and deliver a clear roadmap for the integration of acquired businesses to contribute to creating an efficient and effective C&D business. Responsible for efficiency across the L&S business ensuring a one Biffa approach and developing operational excellence. Responsible for the recruitment and selection, development and succession planning processes within the L&S leadership team such that appropriate skills, experience and capabilities are in place in the short to longer term .
