The position is for a Night Recovery Driver which is a customer facing role and one which is vital in promoting our company's professional reputation. You will be responsible for the safe recovery and transportation of vehicles and any customers travelling with it, to the authorised destination. The Candidate. The candidate will hold an HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and a current CPC card. Previous experience of vehicle recovery while advantageous is not required as full training will be provided as will on going continued development. The candidate will be required for a twelve hour shift 19:00 - 07:00 on a five-day basis Thursday - Monday inclusive. In return we pay our driver for all twelve hours worked with no deduction for breaks taken. Included in the salary, the candidate will receive £10:00 per shift night time allowance and a £10:00 tax free meal allowance per shift.
