Participate in feasibility reviews to support effective planning and decision-making. Analyse existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Liaise with external tooling suppliers to drive cost savings and implement tooling enhancements. Lead engineering projects from initial concept through to successful completion. Provide technical support and guidance to shop-floor personnel during setup and machining activities. Perform any other reasonable duties required to support operational and business needs. About you: Strong knowledge of CNC turning and milling processes (Essential). Experienced in CNC programming, including Fanuc-controlled turning and milling machines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to make well-considered decisions and communicate them effectively. Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Willingness to undertake new tasks and responsibilities as required.

About You: HND/Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject - e.g. electronics/electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering. Experience within a high value engineering environment is desirable Proficient in electronic fault finding, soldering, and electrical wiring In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 8D) Proficient in CAD software, Microsoft Office suite, and MRP systems Ability to create and optimise work instructions for product manufacturing Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical information to various audiences Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Knowledge of programming languages, PLCs and robotics (Desirable)
