Coordinating and supporting internal audits and assisting with external audits (including BRCGS and Halal). Supporting the management and review of HACCP plans, including planning, and attending HACCP meetings. Assisting with the investigation of internal incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints. Supporting microbiological and chemical testing, environmental swabbing, product sampling, and results review. Supporting traceability, recall, and mass balance exercises. Providing day-to-day support, coaching and development to QA Coordinators and QA technicians. Working collaboratively with QC, Hygiene and Operations teams. Supporting scrape-down and clean-down activities and their planning activities. Assisting in the management of the Pest Control System and Waste Management. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across food safety, quality, and compliance. About you: Level 3 HACCP Qualification (minimum). Level 3 Food Safety in Manufacturing. Internal Auditor Training (BRCGS or equivalent). Experience supporting BRCGS audits, investigations, and corrective actions. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience supervising others, with strong people skills and a supportive, coaching approach. An initiative-taking, solutions-focused mindset with great diligence.

MTrec s new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are now looking to recruit a Mazak Programmer who has experience working turn/mill centres. The Job you ll do This vacancy is for someone to work with our production team to provide support in the CNC machine shop. Programming and operating Mazak 200Y/Mazak 300Y/Mazak J300 5 axis turn/mill centre. Working to extremely tight tolerances. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team which sees a great variety of components pass through the Machine Shop, so good teamwork and machining capability is essential to achieve the best results in a growing business. About You Time-served CNC Turner with experience of Mazak programming is essential. Timely production of parts to pre-determined deadlines. Machining to drawing or instruction, general tolerances +/-0.1mm Final machining of product to drawing or instruction, tolerances 0.02mm Turning/Milling, working to similar tolerances as above. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long term position in production and assembly. The Job You'll Do: Set up and operate SMT production lines, including stencil printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. Load components and feeders according to production schedules and Bill of Materials (BOM). Run and monitor SMT programs to ensure correct placement and soldering of components. Perform first-off and in-process inspections to verify product quality against engineering drawings and work instructions. Troubleshoot basic machine faults, feeder errors, and placement issues. Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of SMT equipment to maintain optimal performance. Complete production paperwork and record data accurately in line with company procedures. Work closely with engineers and quality teams to identify and resolve process or product issues. Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Follow all health & safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S principles). About You: Ideally, possess experience in an SMT facility or manufacturing environment. Willingness to learn new skills required to operate the SMT line. Strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight, and dexterity for accurate performance of repetitive tasks. Contractor management (safety). Health and safety inductions. Health and safety toolbox talks. The Person Must be a self-starter, capable of actively identifying HSE issues and then working them through to a successful conclusion. Must be able to manage time and workload. Experience of environmental, health and safety management in a similar organisation. Internal auditing experience. Good understanding of health and safety legal obligations.
