Senior Estates Surveyor Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Estate Surveyor to join them on a temporary basis. Working three days a week in the office in Oakham, pay is £185.00 per day. General duties include:- To ensure the property management database is maintained. Manage budgets and ensure the financial system is accurate. Ensure all properties comply with relevant legislation, health and safety standards and Council policies. Promote innovation and creative solutions to meet the Council s strategic vision for service-driven property needs. Oversee the management of all council-owned properties, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard. Ensure effective, efficient and economic provision of property and advice to Council and Service providers. To develop and sustain effective working relations with other internal and external stakeholders and contacts. Manage the Council s property assets, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and valuations. Ensure the Property Portfolio is reviewed on an annual basis. Manage the outsourced annual fixed asset valuations and property insurance. Prepare the property department budget, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability. Deliver targets. Chemical Manufacturing Company based in Loughborough are looking for a Production Assistant to join them. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for manufacturing chemicals, transferring the chemicals into containers, labelling, packing and completing of compliance paperwork. You may also be required to assist other departments, when busy. Ideally our client is looking for someone with production experience within chemicals or pharmaceutics, who has driven and FLT. Principal Planning Officer (Major Applications) Team: Planning and Development Location: Coalville (minimum one day per week in office; site visits required) Job Purpose To lead on the assessment and determination of major and complex planning applications, provide high-quality pre-application advice, and manage planning appeals. This role focuses solely on major applications and does not include line management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Assess, negotiate and determine major planning applications in line with legislation and policy. Prepare clear, robust committee reports and present applications at Planning Committee. Provide strategic pre-application advice to developers and stakeholders. Prepare appeal statements and represent the Council at hearings and inquiries. Act as a key professional contact for Members, applicants, consultees and the public. Requirements Degree in Town Planning (or related discipline). RTPI membership (or eligible). Significant experience handling major planning applications. Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of electrical projects, including building infrastructure, HV and LV systems, and other related installations. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it. Extensive experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including HV and LV infrastructure.
