Respond to breakdowns efficiently in order to reduce machine downtime and increase production across site, minimising breakdowns through regular PPM's. Improving current systems on site including any technical documentation. Complying with all health & safety regulations and reviewing safety systems. Job Requirements: Technical knowledge and capability to handle the Electrical and Mechanical engineering activities of their plant. Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical engineering discipline. 18th edition wiring regulations. Experience with Power Distribution, Emergency Generators and UPS systems. Familiarity with Instrumentation and Process Controllers. Practical knowledge of PLCs, Motor Control and Variable Speed Drives, Experience, preferably in a 24/7 Production Environment. Working on a Call Out basis when required. Qualifications: Relevant electrical Qualifications - HNC/ONC/BTEC Apprentice Trained Experience in high prssure FMCG environment Qualified in 18 Edition BS7671 Electrical Regulations. - Advantageous H.V. Key Responsibilities Accurately process orders and create detailed job packs using order processing and quoting software. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure correct order entry and manufacturing instructions. Coordinate daily transport bookings following production planning meetings. Liaise with internal teams and external clients to ensure clear communication on orders, delivery schedules, and requirements. Support factory operations through efficient order management and proactive collaboration. Maintain a focus on quality and minimise errors across all order processing activities. Assist in the preparation of quotes for laser cutting, pressing, and fabrication work. Help drive process improvements and contribute to positive client experiences. Manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time. Skills & Experience Comfortable working with order processing and quoting systems (training provided). Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines efficiently. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in completing work to a high standard. Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Previous experience in order processing, administration, or sales support within a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable but not essential. The role The role primarily involves conducting pre-planned & reactive maintenance for a store facility. Candidates must be time served multi-skilled engineers. The shift pattern for the role is 4 on, 4 off rotating days and nights, 12 hr shifts which will include weekend and bank holidays. Responsibilities Keeping allocated PPM to date to a high standard Servicing and repair of automated equipment and general estate maintenance Ensure all equipment is maintained in line with suppliers' guidelines, this will include conveyors, cranes, cooling systems and oxygen reduction. About you We need you to be a time served experienced and skilled engineer who can demonstrate thorough knowledge of proven and advanced technology and with the ability to apply that knowledge practically to ensure competitive and innovative advantage. You must hold a recognised electrical qualification. Experience of working with automated stacker cranes (preferred). Experience of working on roller conveyor systems (preferred). You will need to be proactive and independent comfortable making decisions but equally aware of when to escalate or communicate with key stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to interface with key internal functions, key stakeholders, external regulators, auditors and outside vendors. Experience of working in an automated warehouse environment preferred but not essential. Be able to work at heights up to 42 metres. Any customer queries must be dealt with quickly and efficiently. Line Manager or Director requests are to be completed within the same day or within timescale provided by them.
