Manage trade support using Omgeo CTM and Bloomberg TC, ensuring mismatches are investigated and rectified and that SSI details and other static data are kept up to date in Omgeo Alert. Oversee the settlement of trades using custodian portals and Bloomberg Failstation, ensuring all trades are settled in the set timeframe. Manage broker KPI's, work with brokers to ensure that the match / settlement rate is above 98%. Present MI to the team and Best Execution Committee. Manage all open markets across all mandates, maintaining a database to ensure relevant teams know which markets can be traded (across different brokers). Manage the market opening process for new mandates. Maintain a database of the valuation points/fund lifecycles across all fund/account structures to ensure the trading desk are aware of the optimal times to trade. Assist with the oversight of spot FX across our custodian and FX agents, globally, providing MI as available to the Best Execution Committee. Assist with the implementation and oversight of the new corporate actions administration tool. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE Essential: Minimum 2-5 years in a comparable role (esp. trade support) in a buy-side Investment Management firm. Experience of post trade work with equity and fixed Income securities. Experience using SQL and/or VBA Professional, "can do" attitude with the ability to take full ownership of work. Able to prioritise workload and be organised. Ability to operate in a collegial manner and build good relationships within a dynamic and focused team. Able to think innovatively about improving processes and collaborating with team members to find solutions. Experience of : Portfolio Management Systems Omgeo CTM and Settlement Notification (SWIFT) Portfolio, cash and holdings reconciliation systems. Custodian portals Desirable: Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) Working knowledge of reconciliation software, in particular Indus Valley Partners.
