We are currently looking for experienced MIG and TIG welder to work for one of our clients in sunderland. This role will be starting on a temporary basis however will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate after a number of weeks. Ideally you will be from a background within Welding and Fabrication. Pay rate for welders with MIG experience is 14.06 and for welders with both MIG and TIG experience 15.34. The role will initially start on a day shift but will likely move onto shifts in time, the working hours are as follows; Day shift: Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm, and 7.00am to 12.15pm Friday. Process Operator Our client, based in Houghton Le Spring, is currently undergoing significant investment to increase capacity and install world leading environmental controls. As a result, they are currently recruiting Process Operators to join the team, working in various locations within the facility. This role will become a permanent position upon successful completion of a qualifying temporary period. Duties & responsibilities: Must be safety focussed, demonstrate good safety behaviours and be comfortable to raise safety concerns should they arise. Experience of working with chemicals and COSHH would be an advantage. Must be comfortable wearing PPE including a full face mask when required (no facial hair permitted). Required to operate various critical processes including i) impregnation and drying plant, ii) thermal processing equipment and iii) onsite effluent treatment facility. Required to perform in line testing on manufactured product and quality assurance checks. Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping on production equipment and within production areas. Running Machines and working from specifications. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years demonstrable manufacturing experience as a process operator. GCSE English and Maths or equivalent NVQ.
