Maintenance Operative Peterlee 27,040 Per Annum Training Shift: Monday to Friday, 10.00am - 6.00pm Permanent Shift: Monday to Friday, 2.00pm - 10.00pm We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Peterlee. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within engineering and maintenance. The role would suit someone with experience working in a manufacturing environment, or someone who has recently completed an engineering course and is looking to develop their skills. Working alongside an experienced maintenance team, you will support the day-to-day upkeep of production machinery by carrying out routine checks, preparing equipment and materials for maintenance tasks, and ensuring technicians have everything they need to complete planned work. Full training will be provided, with genuine opportunities to progress into a Maintenance Technician role. The Role Following an initial training period on days, you will move onto a permanent Monday to Friday back shift, working as part of the maintenance team.
