Senior Infrastructure Engineer 50,000 - 60,000 Edinburgh - Hybrid We are on the lookout for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a software services company in Edinburgh. Due to continued growth across the organisation both in the UK & US they are looking for someone with specialist knowledge in VMware, Disaster Recovery and Hyper V. You will help drive the expansion of their SaaS-based platform and applications and play a key role in their continued success. Key Responsibilities include: Responsible for server hardware configuration and provisioning to provide a secure and performant compute platform. Maintaining security and integrity of network infrastructure and services such that unauthorised activity can be recognised and prevented. Managing secure and resilient datacentres to support products and internal services. Reviewing and recommending new technologies with the aim of improving existing services. They're looking for a Quality Engineer who sees quality as a system-wide capability , not a final testing phase. This is not a traditional QA role . You won't be executing test scripts or acting as a gatekeeper. Instead, you'll enable teams to take shared ownership of quality, using metrics, automation, and real production signals to continuously improve how software is built and released.
