The Role: As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Penrith site. You'll lead your team, ensure performance targets are met, and maintain the highest standards of repair quality and customer service. PANEL TECHNICIAN The Vella Group is a well-established accident repair specialist with over 30 years of experience, helping people get their vehicles back on the road after an accident. Now is an exciting time to join as we embark on a journey of expansion and innovation within the industry! _ Negotiable salary depending on experience! _ As a Panel Technician, you will accurately and skilfully undertake the panel repair/replacement of a customer's vehicles to the highest standard. You will also detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Carry out repair operation to prescribed manufacturer's methods of repair and industry standards. Adhere to company policies, guidelines and health and safety regulations (operate within Covid-19 guidelines, check appropriate PPE, have knowledge of COSHH requirements etc.) Keep accurate and comprehensive list of additional parts required, and communicate these findings to the relevant departments Familiarize and operate within the production cycle of the repair Use up to date repair technology (e.g pin puller) Use appropriate filling methods skillfully Weld, bond or rivet panels appropriately You will work closely with your fellow Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and the Production Team to ensure a smooth and complete production process for all vehicles. ABOUT YOU: Ideally you will be an IMI/ATA qualified Panel Technician with strong Bodyshop experience. Ideally have experience with replacing and repairing aluminium. You have a strong work ethic to provide the best quality service. You are a team-player. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task. You are committed to delivering an excellent customer service. Ideally, you will hold a full UK driving license. SITE VEHICLE DAMAGE ASSESSOR The Vella Group is a well-established accident repair specialist with over 30 years of experience, helping people get their vehicles back on the road after an accident. Now is an exciting time to join as we embark on a journey of expansion and innovation within the industry! _Negotiable salary depending on experience!_ The overview of the Vehicle Damage Assessor is to be responsible for creating accurate repair assessments in line with published and current repair methodology also ensuring that they are fair and reasonable and fully justified. You must also have the ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships with engineers, customers, colleagues and technicians. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create accurate right first time repair assessments. Maintain an excellent working knowledge of Audatex. Develop and or maintain an excellent working knowledge of E-Scribe. Develop and or maintain an excellent knowledge and understanding of all insurer/customer contracts. Hold strong communication skills with both internal and external customers, this will include entering accurate records of actions taken and or communications made on the Company' management system. Pro-active in identifying areas of improvement for the Company and its processes. ABOUT YOU: Ideally have previous VDA/ estimating experience Have a good working knowledge of Audatex and E-Scribe. Able to work as a team and have excellent communication skills. Have great organizational skills and be effective with time management. Be flexible and adaptable to change. Now is an exciting time to join as we embark on a journey of expansion and innovation within the industry! _Negotiable salary depending on experience!_ CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As an MET Technician you will strip and rebuild the mechanical, electrical, and trim components of a customer's vehicle to the highest standard. Carry out four-wheel alignment checks and adjustments and complete these repairs using manufacturer and industry methods of repair. Ensure the vehicle is protected during the stages of repair using safety and protection equipment. You will work closely with your fellow Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and the Production Team to ensure a smooth and complete production process for all vehicles. Adhere to company policies, guidelines and health and safety regulations (operate within Covid-19 guidelines, check appropriate PPE, have knowledge of COSHH requirements etc.) Have working experience with electric vehicles ABOUT YOU: Ideally you will be an IMI/ATA qualified MET Technician with strong Bodyshop experience. You have a strong work ethic to provide the best quality service. You are a team-player. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
