Job description CNC Operator Setter Pontypool Permanent Job description Recruitment Solutions Workforce are currently recruiting CNC Machinists with experience within the automotive / aerospace / manufacturing sectors to join our client's team. Skills/Experience: Previous experience of setting CNC milling machines is essential Knowledge of CNC metal cutting and boring Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances Ability to problem solves any technical issues arising in machining cells. Previous experience in a manufacturing / aerospace / automotive industry Experience in working in a medium/high volume production environment Understanding of quality systems and completing quality checks/gauging Attention to detail is essential Able to work with minimal supervision. Duties: Carry out setting requirements and changeovers for various machining cells including tooling, fixture changes and ensuring raw material availability for the run Ensuring machines are set up efficiently for production and/or product run minimising downtime 1st off checks are completed. Operate CNC milling machines and provide support to others when not setting. You would be working closely with the test manager onsite as part of a small team.
