DBA Lead - Sybase IQ Initial 3-month Contract Role Hybrid working in London £550 - £600, Inside IR35 We're partnering with a Global IT Services Provider supporting them with the search for a Sybase IQ DBA Lead to manage and improve SAP IQ environments for large-scale analytics and date warehousing. Responsibilities: Lead SAP IQ database administration, including monitoring, performance tuning, and optimisation. Oversee near-line storage (NLS) solutions and integration with SAP HANA. Plan and run database upgrades, patching, migrations, and disaster recovery processes. Implement and enforce database best practices, standards, and governance. Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to support high-volume data ingestion and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Requirements: Extensive SAP IQ (Sybase IQ) DBA experience. Strong experience with analytics-focused databases optimized for large-scale data warehousing. Hands-on with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting for Sybase IQ NLS and SAP HANA integration experience is a plus. NPPV3/ SC Cleared Deployment Engineer Location: North Wales Contract: 2-3 Months Rate: £200 per day (Inside IR35) Hours: Monday to Friday (standard business hours) We're currently recruiting for an NPPV3/ SC Cleared Deployment Engineer to support a Windows 11 deployment project based in North Wales. This is a short-term contract starting ASAP. You'll be responsible for delivering Windows 11 upgrades across user devices, ensuring minimal disruption to end users while maintaining security and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Performing Windows 11 upgrades and device builds Backing up and restoring user data where required Troubleshooting upgrade and compatibility issues Providing face-to-face user support during rollout Ensuring devices meet security and compliance requirements Requirements: Active NPPV3 clearance (NPPV2 may be considered) or SC Clearance Previous experience delivering Windows 10/11 upgrade projects Strong desktop support / field engineer background Excellent customer-facing skills Ability to work onsite in North Wales, Monday-Friday This is an urgent requirement, and we're looking to move quickly.
